The alumni association AlumniUM e.V. was founded in 2001 and today has 3,100 active members. With a growth of about 200 new members per year, AlumniUM is one of the fastest growing networks of its kind in Germany. The activities of the association focus on strengthening the relationship of the alumni with the faculty of economics, the intensive connection between university and practice, and the students’ support by former graduates. In order to ensure this AlumniUM offers its members offer a wide range of services and activities, such as the mentoring program or the graduate book.

IUR – Chair of International Accounting

The Chair of International Acoounting was founded in 2006 and is headed by Prof. Dr. Peter Kajüter. Together with three other chairs the IUR represents the Accounting Center Münster.

The chair is thematically broadly oriented. In the course of his research and teaching activities the IUR deals with international topics covering the internal/external accounting as well as the controlling. Consequently, the chair takes account of the increasing internationalization on the one hand and the interrelationships as well as interfaces between accounting and controlling on the other hand. In order to reach this, the IUR fosters an intensive exchange with the business practice.


As a consulting company, educator and mediator between different worlds Semler Company advises and qualifies enterprises and SMEs for their digital transformation efforts.  Knowledge, mindfulness and pragmatism and a focus on what our customer really need is all equally important in our advisory work. What our clients need varies widely. This variety is our challenge, which we meet with curiosity and enthusiasm.  

This is also true for our second pillar in addition to consulting, our training platform Semler Company Campus.  There, we offer content and methods to work well in the digital age, ranging from digital topics to social skills. With our Case Challenge, we aim to organize an event assembling a unique group of business talents.
